Key Abilities

In Wheel of Eternity, Cards you use may have small Icons on them near their ability text. These are called 'Key Abilities'. Key Abilities allow Creatures to have special properties. There are 22 in total, but we only have 17 to reveal at this stage.

General Abilities (Available across all Classes)

FLYING Creatures with Flying can only be Blocked by other Creatures with the Flying key Ability.

BLOCKER Creatures with Blocker can take an attack in place of a targeted Creature, Commander or Support.

IRON WILL Creatures with Iron Will cannot be destroyed through Combat Damage (Their Defense will never drop below 1 during a Battle.

SHADOW Creatures with Shadow cannot be Blocked by Creatures with Blocker.

REGENERATE Instead of being destroyed, Creatures with Regenerate will be removed to the Exile Zone, and then returned to the Battlefield at the beginning of their controllers next turn.

Key Abilities unique to the KNIGHT Class.

HEROISM Creatures with Heroism can target Tapped AND Untapped Creatures.

PERCEPTION Creatures with Perception don't Tap when attacking.

Key Abilities unique to the GLADIATOR Class.

HASTE Creatures with Haste may act on the turn they enter the Battlefield (Excluding the players first turn.)

BERSERK Creatures with Berserk must attack every turn they are able. (They are unable if they are: Already Tapped by an attack or Ability, or prevented from attacking by a Spell or Ability.)

Key Abilities unique to the RANGER Class.

RANGED Trigger Ability, Creatures with Ranged are able to trigger their Ability when they are returned to their owners hand.

BLINK Creatures with Blink cannot be targeted by other Creatures in Combat.

Key Abilities unique to the ROGUE Class.

CYCLE Creatures with Cycle can be Discarded from the hand during your turn, if you do, you may Draw a Card.

SWINDLE Trigger Ability, Creatures with Swindle can trigger their Abilities when they are Discarded from your hand.

Key Abilities unique to the CLERIC Class.

VAMPIRISM Creatures with Vampirism restore Life to their Commander by the specified number whenever they deal Combat Damage to a target.

GRAVEBORN Creatures with Graveborn may be played from the Graveyard for the specified Cost with a -1/-1 Counter. (If they are, next time they would die, they are instead, Exiled.)

Key Abilities unique to the SORCERER Class.

ATTUNED Creatures with Attuned are allowed to enter and exit the Abyssal Zone for the specified Cost.

HALLOWED Creatures with Hallowed cannot be targeted by Spells and Abilities in Combat (Including your own.)
